Los Alamos, California is a town north of both Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. If you've ever been to Los Olivos or Solvang, you've been in the neighborhood! Santa Barbara has a world class airport if you are flying in from out of town, or you can choose to come into one of the LA area airports. If driving to Los Alamos from LA or Santa Barbara, consider IGNORING the directions your favorite map program will suggest and STAY ON THE 101. Otherwise it puts you on CA154, a beautiful, winding 1-lane mountain road that absolutely does not save you any time. In fact we've timed it! If you get behind the wrong truck, you're going to have a bad time. The 101 also gets quite beautiful so you don't even really lose out on any vistas. Of course, the choice is yours!
Yes! There is indeed a dress code, as many of you could imagine! We've always wanted the theme and style of our wedding to be "elevated cowboy" so please do your best to adhere! You can always send what you are thinking about wearing to Catrena for tips and insight! Think - Black tie but cactii! Upscale on a haybail! Ballgown at a hoedown!

We'll be getting married in Los Alamos, California, a small town about 2 hours north of Los Angeles. It's small, quaint, loaded with great food and wine, plus - it's a little weird! The perfect getaway! Here are some hotel recommendations for Los Alamos, as well as other towns that are close by.
Another town that is close by is Los Olivos. There are plenty of hotels there within a 15 minute drive of the Union Saloon.
If you've ever been curious about what a Dutch-themed town in California would like than you should look into staying in Solvang! Just 20 minutes from Los Alamos, this unique town has all the charm of Faaborg. Lots of wine tasting and restaurants here as well.
